To all who didn't hear about the clusterfuckle that the Deviantart team sent out.
Deviantart has once again decided that now was the time to show their ass and screw artists over.
Cuz guess what. It takes generally 10 days for a form to get through for only 1 artwork, and if someone wanted to take your art for AI purposes, YOU have to be the one to fill out the form. Not the AI bro who stole your work. (also they said that filling it out doesn't technically save your work from being stolen, so it's pointless to try.)

It takes around 5 to 7 weeks for them to finish a plush, so you might have to wait a while before your commission actually arrives to your home. But the plush was cheap (130$) and made my sister very happy!

Status update glitch
You know when you submit a status update in order to get a badge, team doesn't recognize it as a submission for the contest and won't reward you the badge.
I read some of the comments below and apparently you only get the badge if you click the green "Post a status update" button WITHIN the contest post and submit your work that way, instead of using your own status update submission button.
Is there anyway that they could fix this bug? I have entered this weekly contest and submitted my pieces within the time frame that I was given twice and still nothing. It's just really discouraging to have placed efforts into getting the badges, only for you not to get said badges because of a weird bug.

On May 25, 2020, George Floyd was killed by the police of Minneapolis. for 8-9 minutes, we watched as he pleaded "I can't breathe" over and over again while Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, kneeled on his throat while the other officers at the scene either joined in or acted as a lookout. 8-9 minutes is a long time to go without air, especially if you are being pinned at that angle. Even Just laying on the ground With your arms behind your back can cause serious injury in left for too long.

Minutes after, they checked his pulse, but STILL would not get off of him.
Even when bystanders shouted.
Even when they could no longer find a pulse.
Once the Ambulance was called, he had already gone into cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
There should be no excuse for what Derek and the other three officers had done. this has always been a problem with our countries' law enforcement and the fact that it's only NOW turning heads is really heartbreaking to me.
I just feel...Tired, I've been feelin' tired for four years now but this particular conversation has been seen, heard, done a million times and it just doesn't get any better. People seem so set in their ways that deaths like this are seen only as an unfortunate happenstance, that if ignored it won't be as bothersome and will simply go away.
But please, listen to me when I say: DO NOT IGNORE THIS!
I know that as an African American woman, I risk getting stopped at a light or questioned for simply existing, more so than a white American would. And that frightens me, it's bad enough that we have a pandemic, now we have the national guard/police officers attacking peaceful protestors BEFORE THE CURFEW ACTUALLY STARTS!
Or peaceful protestors being pushed, gassed and shot at so the President could have a PHOTO OP AT THE CHURCH (All of the priests who were working there fled because they were also pushed/gassed and shot at.)
It is just...So tiring.
All lives don't matter until black lives matter, that's all I have left to say...

Howdy!
Thank you to all who took my quiz! I'm sorry for the long wait on most of your art requests. A bunch of life issues started popping up lately, (College deadlines/post-finals cold, family stress, COVID-19 fears, etc.) And made it hard for me to focus much on finishing requests.
But now that I am taking a long break from school (I go back in August,) I can finally focus on using what I learned from drawing the requests and focus on creating a coherent art style of my own!
In other news, I will post another life update, but I think that one deserves its own journal.
